With over 20 years’ experience in the building industry,
Brad Shaw personally leads every project at Shaw Building Ltd, delivering a professional service and quality results clients can trust.

A born-and-bred Southlander with a rural background, Brad began his building career in 2004. He completed his Carpentry Apprenticeship with a local builder and the Southern Institute of Technology, qualifying in 2007. He later broadened his expertise while living in Germany, where he balanced rugby with construction work and gained valuable project management experience.

In 2012, Brad returned to Invercargill to establish Shaw Building Ltd, specialising in architectural homes and renovations. He takes great pride in his skilled team, the quality of their workmanship, and the strong relationships built with trusted local subcontractors.

Shaw Building Ltd is a member of the Registered Master Builders Association, with Brad serving as an executive member — providing clients with added confidence and the assurance of quality workmanship.

Committed to health and safety, Shaw Building Ltd maintains accreditation with SiteWise NZ, reflecting robust systems and a proactive approach to workplace safety. The company is also an approved distributor and qualified installer of Flashclad, supplying and expertly installing premium aluminium cladding systems that deliver superior weathertight performance and long-term durability.

Outside of work, Brad is a proud Southlander who enjoys all sports(especially rugby)along with fishing, hunting, live music, and a cold Speight’s. He and his wife, Dana, are proud parents of three wonderful children.
